Is the swimming pool private?

No, the Infinity Swimming pool is part of Costa del Sol Community in Cozumel and it’s shared with other Guests and homeowners.

How far are Cozumel Beach House’s rentals from the beach?

Jasianna Jaxen Beach Villa is literally 3 steps away from its private sandy beach area.

Villa Paradise is about a 2-minute walk to the beach.

Do you provide beach towels?

Yes, we provide beach towels in addition to bath towels.

Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes, both Jasianna Jaxen Beach Villa and Villa Paradise have a washer and dryer available for your convenience.

Can you help us arrange for tours and other services?

Absolutely! It gives us pleasure to offer complimentary VIP concierge services to assist you with the perfect vacation in Cozumel. We can arrange for fishing, snorkeling, diving, nanny services, a private chef, maid services, car rental, massage, hair and nail services, a private driver, and grocery shopping. Our team is the best and if it’s available, we can do it.

Is the water safe to drink?

Yes, both villas have an ultraviolet purification system to purify the tap water in the showers, sinks, dish washer, and laundry facilities. In addition, we provide water bottles for drinking.

Do you recommend renting a scooter in Cozumel?

No, we don’t. If you are an expert rider and have experience driving in Cozumel, it is of course your choice. Otherwise, we believe they are dangerous and not always well maintained.

Do you recommend renting a car while in Cozumel?

Yes, driving in Cozumel is safe and convenient. If you don’t plan to leave the property much and would like the freedom of having some adult beverages while on vacation, we can help with a taxi or private driver.

How far is Cozumel Beach House from the Cozumel Airport?

It’s about a 20-minute drive, depending on traffic.

Do you recommend to flying into the Cancun airport or directly into Cozumel?

We recommend flying directly to Cozumel especially if you are traveling with children. Flying into Cancun can add an additional 2-4 hours to your trip depending on traffic in Cancun and ferry timing.

Are there restaurants close to Cozumel Beach House?

During the day, there are several options such as Senor Iguanas Hacienda and the large all-inclusive beach clubs to the south of Cozumel Beach House. The Money Bar is located 8 km north and is also open for dinner. We can also recommend many wonderful restaurants in town.

How far is the grocery store?

Mega Soriana and Chedraui are about a 20-minute drive. Both stores are similar to Walmart and you will find a variety of items such as liquor, toiletries, sunscreen, clothing, and food.

Do you offer pick up service at the airport?

No, due to airport regulations, only the shuttle service is allowed to take passengers flying into Cozumel to their destination. Once you get your luggage and pass through Customs, there is a counter to the right to purchase tickets for the shuttle. Beware of the people in blue shirts that are waiting in line for tourists to pass. They appear official but they are there to sell timeshares on the mainland. Purchase your shuttle tickets to take you to Costa del Sol, Carretera Costera Sur km 12.5 (after Aquarium Beach Club and before Secrets resort.

Can we rent a car at the airport instead of taking a shuttle?

Yes, Hertz and Avis have counters inside the airport. Alamo and Thrifty are also located nearby but you’ll need to cross the street to do the paperwork. Remember that Mexico requires third party liability insurance on all cars rented in Mexico regardless of your auto policy and credit card coverage in your home country. We recommend that our guests also purchase collision insurance for your peace of mind while driving in Mexico. We can help you with a rental car should you decide to get one once you’re here.

How do I get to Cozumel Beach House if I take the passenger ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel?

There is a taxi queue on the main road, Melgar, to your left as you exit the ferry terminal. Give the driver the address of Costa del Sol, Carretera Costera Sur km 12.5 in the South Hotel Zone.

Will someone be onsite to greet us?

Yes, when you arrive to Costa del Sol, ask Security for Jasianna K. Jaxen, Cozumel Beach House and she will give you a tour of the community and walk you through some guidelines.
